NeuroCheck is looking back on a very eventful and successful year.
After the backlog of orders had already been above average at the beginning of the year, it increased even further during the first half of the year. By hiring several more employees and external staff and reorganizing the business at the same time, we were able to work through the backlog successfully both technically and in time.
Even compared to the already very successful business year of 2015, we were able to boost our turnover considerably yet again and acquire many new customers. We were very pleased that both business areas, Software and Applications, contributed in equal measure to this positive development.
In the Applications area, the order situation continued to be dominated by large orders from the German automotive industry but also by the well represented middle-sized machine manufacturers. The superiority of scalable computer and software architecture offering the same user interface for all use cases becomes more and more evident in these markets.
Technologically interesting features such as 3-D image processing and robot-assisted inspection that were introduced with software version NeuroCheck 6.1 have been successfully installed in several major projects.
With our new Chinese partner Intellisight Ltd. in Shanghai, NeuroCheck was able to improve software sales, and the supply of services and spare parts in the Middle Kingdom fundamentally. Driven by the strongly expanding business, Intellisight plans on significantly increasing their number of employees in 2017.
In spring 2016, NeuroCheck added another building at Neckarstr. 68 in Remseck. The new premises house the software division and the area of Assembly and Switch Cabinet Building, which has also seen a significant increase in staff. A workshop building has been enlarged and completely re-equipped. Together with the divisions Administration and Engineering at Neckarstr. 76/1, all business divisions now are nearby. The resulting synergy with regard to performance, speed and efficiency became apparent after a couple of weeks.
NeuroCheck GmbH management is extremely optimistic for 2017. The number of new orders placed in recent months is at a consistently high level, while the professionality of our systems continues to guarantee growth-oriented development.
